When living in Ottawa, the one thing everyone must do is attend the Ottawa Senators NHL Hockey games at the Canadian Tire Centre, as hockey is a major part of our culture. The major issue is being able to get affordable tickets for students can be challenging. Yes there is stubhub.com, which you can get some pretty good deals on tickets and it is advertised at the games. But that doesn't come close to the deal that I got through Sprott at school.

A major marketing ploy would be bundling goods together in order for it to seem more attractive and gain consumer interest, so that consumers are more likely to buy the product. I experienced this last week when SBSS was advertising selling tickets to the Ottawa Senators vs. Nashville Predators NHL hockey game on November 20th at Canadian Tire Centre, which was very appealing as a nice relaxing game night out. Balancing school and leisure is always hard, this was appealing as it allowed to attend a game but save time with transportation as to not waste a whole day of studying on going to a hockey game.
The deal that they offered was so great, $40 would get you a hockey ticket in the 300’s level, a $10 food voucher, a Senators scarf, a ticket for free cover to the bar called the Cabin in the market, as well as bus transportation to and from the game. It is hard to justify spending $40 of school money on a hockey game, but with this deal it was hard to resist. My brain jumped into calculation mode and so $40-$10 food voucher, meant spent $30 for the hockey ticket, then minus the price of a scarf which low balled would be $10, leaving the price of a ticket and transportation at $20. There was no way to refuse this offer and that's why they easily sold out of their 100 tickets to this event.
